e-Readers Compared
Question: My question is about e-readers compared to each other. The Kindle wireless reading device is so cool. Does anyone have one of these, or want one, or know anyone that has one?
I really want one! Or should I consider another e-reader? I am a HUGE book lover, so yeah, I was just wanting your opinions on e-readers. How much of a discount off books do you get with the ebook version with the Kindle and other ereaders? Are the e-readers easy to read? Is it easy to download books? Do you really think it's worth the price to get an e-reader?
Guess I just need some convincing that this Kindle reader or any e-reader is for me. So tell me the truth-OK?
Thanks, Deb
Editor: There is no doubt about it e-readers are hot! The newest Kindle sold out quickly in it's recent introduction. No doubt the Kindle is a great ereader but remember there are other brands too.
There is Sony Reader, Barnes & Nobles Nook, the iPad by Apple is also an e-reader and there is also the KOBO by Borders.
You and I will still always enjoy reading real books as well as newspapers. But there is something to be said for the convenience of carrying around a huge library of books and more with one slim e-reader.
Each of these electronic reading devices has different features and prices. So you need to do some research before buying your ereader. But imagine your next vacation with just an ereader to carry on board the plane. No buying or bringing along bulky books. That is wonderful.
Or many you just have some time to kill. so pullout your e-reader and enjoy. Ah, life is good. Soon you won't leave home without your e-reader. It will be as important as your cellphone and perhaps just as necessary, too.
We have done some research and have good information on all types of ereaders here. We also have answers for many questions that come up regarding the ereader. So check it out.

Thinking about the return to college one notes that an e-reader could be just the answer to replace the expensive text books. Many text books are sold after use. In other words the student doesn't really want to keep them. Having the ability to download your text book to your e-reader would be great.
E-readers compared and deciding on how you'll use your e-reader are important first steps to buying the right e-reader for you.

It looks cool! You can always try it. If you don’t like it, I believe Amazon will let you return it.
